CLOSED: Christmas Wishes: A Contest for 4 BP.

It was a silent christmas eve, and all through the house, only the computer was stirring, though it had not a mouse, and on the screen, blaring in bright orange & white, a site called ForumWarz did shine through the night. So, Santa came down the chimney with care, wary of stockings that were hung around there. “What a tarnished tradition” he thought to himself, and soon his bag followed, tossed down by an elf. So, with presents he laid, a dozen or so, a X-Box for James, for doing so-so, a Barbie game for Suzie, and a new Mouse for Tommy, all silently placed, along with nine others, I failed to contemplate. So, soon he saw, the screen’s bright glare, now being Santa & all, he quickly wooshed there. The screen aglow, he clicked & clacked, checking the “accounts” on that browser-like game. He scratched his chin, he took a look around, he them harumphed, and chewed a cookie, for reasons unknown, as he made an account, SomeThingFilledWithSnow, he sent 10 BP, to everyone there, that he felt they deserved, with nary a care, for even being Santa, he knew them all well, for he had checked his list thrice, and boy was it “hell”. Soon he logged out, making sure to delete, any pbumword he may have decided to keep, he deleted the history of him being there, and wooshed up the chimney, his bag, with care. That morning, when the children awoke, all of them awestruck, but not for the presents aloaf, but for the 10 BP, sitting on screen, that said, and I quote,” Happy Halloween, I mean Christmas!”

15 BP for Best Hacking Game

The game I propose is called Decker, a low memory requirement game, that can be customized in graphics, and has overall 6 changing missions in increasingly hard enviroments, from as simple as tossing a switch inside a system, to editing multiple files, or shutting down a system stealthily. Your main character is an avatar you choose at the beginning, but can be modified from the program files. There are several “abilities” to use in Net Combat, and you silence the computer node you are in, as to not alert the system, you can also smoke the node, to get rid of following enemies. You can customize all hardware you use, except specialty hardware which must be brought from the store. The goal of the game is to pay rent [monthly deductible] while maintaining your net status. The game does cause your character to get hurt, if you get thrown out of a system, but it reduces the damage depending on how much more was taken. [AKA you’ll take a lot if you get blasted by 5 enemies at once than a single angry eyeball]. You can build your own chips, and increasingly gain stats to better deceive the system. So, if your looking for an in-your face hacker game, Decker is for you!

Captain Novolin, a game for the Super Nintendo series, that is based on a hero having diabetes, no joke! The game is based on evading bad-guys and balancing your food & insulin intake, it was originally made only for kids who had this condition, as to help them cope with having type 1 diabetes, but it’s good for an overall laugh, as the series was horribly made and incredibly short-lived.

I Wanna Be The Guy, another insane game, based completely on the basis of a kid becoming a hero. The game is basically like a one shot deal, as there is no easy way to complete the game. You must dodge EVERYTHING, and your weapon is a very teeny pistol, that deals minimal damage to the most unlikely of monsters. The game gets extremely challenging & there are save points everywhere, which I highly recommend you use, except in Insane Mode, where there is only one… The game is freeware, so I will post a link to it.
