I’ve been thinking more about this, and the way I think to really make such a forum take off is to dissociate people’s histories when they change their name. That way when someone is screwed by “john doe is really HoG”, HoG could rename john doe to something else, and start afresh (with no post history tied to the character ID).

Maybe make it a option.

“Hey there! You’re about to change your name! Would you like to keep your post history? Y/N”

Though, I’m sure the server wouldn’t like tons of posts being deleted at once.
