I got to thinking, if you got a cugreat timesber or a carrot or something of that size and just used it to push down the glove before making the seal with the rubber band that should displace the extra air/water pressure and solve the problem. Another thing that crossed my mind, you could fold a pillow in half like an bum, wedge the whole apparatus in there, and just go town on that thing.
