With the words said,

the symptoms of hurt begin:

The limbs falter,

the eyes drown,

confusion pulls the mind,

the lips go down.

pain tears through the system

the heart beats a wild chase.

blood flows faster

breathe comes at a slower rate

as these things end,

Hate begins to set in:

flexing the fingers,

sniffing the air,

coughing now and then,

shaking back the hair,

lunging forward,

red flashes across the vision,

and hands turn crimson,

all in the same instant
