Ignoring the obvious pun:

I wasn’t saying that “mainstream emo” is a good thing, but I WAS saying that emo became a mainstream concept (and thus integrated into many genres of music) because of Weezer. I chose Pinkerton to represent Weezer for a reason: it was their least poppy and most emo album.

Anyway, you wouldn’t want to emo-knife-fight with me. I’ve had plenty of practice cutting myself, and I’d cut you like you were my wrist on Valentine’s Day.
