Inflatable Dartboard Posted: Heh, I didn’t really consider him Day one, but he is close enough. I was saying to Jalapeno that he is easily my favorite character in E2 the other day. While Jalapeno wrote the dialog, he was severely influenced by this paranoid guy I met at a technology meetup here in Toronto. I’ve always thought it was hilarious that some conspiracy theorists believe that lizard men run the planet, so we tried to work that in at a creative meeting. We literally sat around naming animals that would be ridiculous to run things, and ended up in giraffe. To be honest, at the time I wasn’t 100% satisfied with it, until I read the final chat code. Jalapeno did a great job with it. The final touch was the avatar with the glowing eyes. That was influeced by Hypnotoad from Futurama. I’m glad you guys love it, because I do too! Although to be fair, the character that made me laugh the most was GooseFriedBacon, which is also based on someone we know in real life Log in to see images! |
