I never understood why it mattered.
6.8 Euros is the same as $10. It effectively is exactly the same amount of money, just with different numbers bumigned to it. You’re not spending less money and getting more, you’re spending the exact same amount of money that you worked the exact same amount to get as an American would for $10, and getting exactly the same thing.
