I think I upvoted this one. It provoked a smile as I read it this time.

These two I pbumed on. The forum was How Stuff Breaks, and your submissions referenced breaking something, but that was all. I think the jokes needed another layer or two to work for me.

I liked this one, but it didn’t knock me out. I can’t remember if I upvoted it or just pbumed.

IIRC, this was one of the earliest thread titles submitted, and I upvoted it. I thought it was clever. Then a bunch more “broken spirit” or “broken heart” submissions came along and the joke grew thin.

Not knowing what thermite is, I pbumed on this one. If it didn’t make it into the forum, it was probably because it was too specialized.

I pbumed on this one. Yes, it works well with the theme, and I could see it as an angry reply, but I like submissions that make me laugh. This one just didn’t. : shrug :

I only came up with one enemy: Broke bum.

Yeah, wasn’t that great, it had a picture of a mule. It stayed positive until the ened, but not enough to get accepted (maybe 60-70 up or so). I don’t want to mention my forum submission as I entered once again.
