Okay, I have thought about this long and hard and I have decided it would be best if that not only Drussthebritishbastard shouldn’t run the contest because of the fear that he would ragequit and TOXX himself, but also that I would not run it for fear of falling to the same fate Druss did. So what I want you all to do is explain to me in at least 400 words:

The winner of this contest to run the contest will be given 225BP (winner can keep 25BP) to run the contest with and will be legally obliged by this toxx that they will use 200BP to run the contest with or they will be banned.

Contest ends Saturday 28th at 5PM EST.

I have no experience, and therefore am uniquely qualified to run it.

I won’t toxx myself before as much as I diss this site, I actually enjoy chatting with a few people and don’t want a permaban. As I am close to the edge of yet another perma, I have a reason to not toxx.

-A lot of people entered, even though some were eh.

– Raepdog won and got the bp with the entry “goregasm”

Two video game contests

– First one involved beating 3 fairly good indie games.

– Got the word out about two lesser known games.

– Nicco won the first.

Second one

– Introduced another indie game

– Had a few people liking the game.

– Chawin won.

The way I would run this contest is, I will put the contest up, throw all the entries together in some organized way, then throw them up to a panel of judges/for the community to vote on. Though, there are probably much better people than me to run this contest, doesn’t hurt to try. Log in to see images!

The judges would probably be well known people that I feel have the knowledge and experience to judge the contest. Fortunato would probably be my first pick if he accepted. I would make the community one slightly different, I would put up a poll, then the top few(depending on the number of entries) would move on until only 1 remains.

I may or may not put in multiple rounds, it all depends on how many entries there are, and the hype around the contest.

Okay, 400 words.

First of all, I’ve already [got a headstart on the competition, so I think that judging would be fun, as I’ve got something to compare entries with. Also, my lack of contest holding experience means that I have no pre-conceived notions about contests, and am therefore more likely to deliver an offbeat and interesting experience. I’ve got a number of ideas kicking around for little side quests and bonuses, and perhaps some challenges. Finally (and this is perhaps the most persuasive argument of all) I am an Australian, and I also used to be a drill sergeant in the Air Cadets. So my voice is more suited for bellowing out across a parade ground than singing. That means that if I don’t judge, whoever the poor soul is that gets chosen will have to listen to my ‘melodious’ voice once I send in the recording. Ask yourself, do you want that person to be you? Well, do you?
