I think the first game that I played was tekken 3 for the ps1, although I have memories of playing street fighter for the genesis a bit earlier. AntiRules187 edited this message on 05/17/2009 3:26PM |

Hmmm… Sonic the Hedgehog, maybe, or Arkanoid for DOS, or Dune II, I played all of them in the early and not-so-early 90s. Quake and Blood came a couple years later. And a HUGE lot of other games, especially from the 90s. Log in to see images! |

Was going to say Space Invaders, but I think before that I played Atari Football (if anyone remembers, it had the black and white X’s and O’s that you controlled with a big trackball) Log in to see images! |

The Oregon Trail, on an Apple II. I don’t think I ever made it to the end before dying of some sort of plague, getting attacked by bears or the native residents, or running out of food. |

Dig-Dug, at the arcade. First console game was some maze game on the Atari 2600. It was terrible, but strangely fancinating to a small child. |

My first video game experience was probably Pac-Man at the local 7-Eleven. I believe my first console game was River Raid or Frogger on the Atari 2600. I got them both with the Atari for my 7th birthday, but I don’t remember which one I actually played first. |

Actually, if it counts the first “game” I played was paint. I was probably like 5 or something and my dad would let me play with MSpaint. And sometimes I would close folders on accident and think that I had like deleted them because I didn’t understand that you could just open them back up. |

Either Pac-Man or one of the shooting games at an arcade. At home either Pac-Man or Pitfall on Atari. scully edited this message on 05/17/2009 7:45PM |

The first game I REMEMBER playing is Super Mario World for SNES. I’m pretty sure I played some stuff on my dad’s PC and Atari before then, but I was too young to remember. Lord Shplane edited this message on 05/17/2009 8:13PM |

CreepPipe Posted: Same here. First game I owned— Super Mario Land for the original Gameboy (yes, the big-bum brick one).
My favorite Gameboy/NES games as a kid were the Kirby games.
And to the “Pokemon” crowd, I was in 6th grade when that came out. So no way was it going to be my first game. |
