The problem is that I’ve seen dozens of trolls, emokids, camwhores, permanoobs, and hackers. I’ve seen dozens of fanboys. However, I’ve only ever seen two Furries, and one may have been faking it.

I’ve seen fanboy emokids, fanboy permanoobs, and fanboy hackers. They aren’t an archetype, they’re a common variation on existing themes.

As far as your claims, they’re completely without merit. There isn’t one ‘true’ internet experience, and where you roam is probably not typical. Personally, I’ve seen far more furries than both emokids and hackers combined, so if you want to bring in anecdotal evidence then our respective claims cancel out.

Perhaps this clbum would work but it would be better if the Artist clbum had the Deviant Art ability. Most of the work there should be considered a war crime anyway.

If we’re going in this direction how about some Prestige Clbumes:

– Creepy Guy

(The anti-Camwhore, Creepy Guy’s attacks involve asking for pics, trading files, ranting about porn preferences and calling the Partyvan)

– Randroid

(The anti-Emo Kid. Randroid is staunchly right wing and refuses to accept anything except Laissez-Faire Capitalism as a subject worth talking about. Rejects emotion in all cases.)

– Furvert

(The anti-Troll. Has absolutely no sense of humor whatsoever and attacks with Yiffs and fanfics. The gimmick behind this one is we’re never really sure whether they’re trolling or not).

– Ronin Moderator

(The anti-Hacker. The idea with this one is to arbitrarily decide what is and what is not “good posting” and seek to destroy all that does not conform.)

– Grandma

(The anti-Permanoob. Another challenge clbum but this one actually has everything reversed: she’s more defense than offense. Grandma has seen it all and just because she doesn’t know much about the internet doesn’t mean she’s phased by Goatse.)

You would join the Prestige Clbumes upon reaching Lvl 35 of your previous clbum, dropping yourself down to Lvl 1 of the new Prestige Clbum, essentially denying your affiliation with your previous clbum.

There are currently no low-defense/high-damage (effective if acyclic or short-cycle – basically an RPG wizard or sorcerer-type), mid-defense/mid-damage (true balanced clbum), or a high-defense/mid-damage long cycle (strategist-type). I see room for three more clbumes.

The camwhore is wizard-like, but ranks as mid-damage because of the scale setters. Emokids can put out up to 2x their normal damage once they get their ego down low, and hackers get the best stat boosting equipment in the game.

Camwhores can’t beat either in raw damage, but they theoretically make up for that in two ways:

1: Camwhores have zero prep time for achieving maximum damage per round.

2: Camwhores can (theoretically) constantly hit a thread for high damage.

Of course, with the clbumes broken as all hell none of this holds true anymore. Currently the troll is high damage/high defense, the camwhore is low defense/low damage, the emokid and hacker are mid defense/mid damage.

The current clbumes need to be rebalanced before any new clbumes are introduced.
