CNN Politics has some good supplemental **** for the debates too.

really though the debates are kind of worthless. it boils down to both sides presenting their stump speeches again. the only reason to watch them imo would be to see how obama and biden are knowledgeable of the facts and issues and the constant lying and backpedaling on the other end.

McCain will help out families by making sure that you don’t have to “share the wealth” and risk not being able to put chlorine in your pools and new clothes in your closets. These are hard times. Blu-Ray is replacing DVD, which means that you’ll need to replace your whole DVD library with new Blu-Ray versions of all your favorite movies. The resale value on your SUV is at risk with all these people worrying so much about fuel efficiency. This is no time to be burdening you with taxes that would just end up being used for stuff like socialist healthcare programs. Why would you want that? You already HAVE healthcare through your job. The last thing you need is the government coming in and trying to tax you. It’s bad enough we all lost so much money in the stock market. I know one family who had to fire their cleaning lady because there was just no way to afford to pay her still have enough spending money left over after their bathroom remodeling (and they needed it desperately— you should have seen the tilework in their upper bathroom; it was at least 8 years old and there was no way they were going to find a shower curtain that matched that AND the new suite in the master bedroom). Another family I know had to really cut back and give up their weekly family tradition of eating at Red Lobster every Friday. Now they’re making due with Applebee’s instead and they even had to stop ordering appetizers and limit themselves to 2 male reproductive organtails per night on their Ruby Tuesday’s Mondays. I heard about another family who told their kids they had to rent games at Blockbuster for a while instead of buying them, because they just couldn’t swing it this month and still pay the landscapers. So we’re all making sacrifices in these hard times. McCain understands how difficult it can be, and he knows that taxing us and making us “share the wealth” is no way to help us right now. Once we get back on our feet, we’ll go back to making jobs for those middle clbum families you hear so much about on TV, by being able to go out there and keep buying the things we need for our own families. McCain won’t force you to have to face your extended family this Christmas season without a chance to refurnish the living room. You won’t have to fill the game room with used equipment or have your children ask why their new game consoles didn’t come in plastic-sealed boxes. John McCain understands.
