I WAS IN THE 8TH GRADE AND LIVING ON THE EAST COAST,WHEN THEY TOLD EVERYONE THAT JFK WAS KILLED AND TOLD US TO GO HOME.THEY FEARED A ATTACK WAS COMING.WHEN HIS MOTORCADE CAME THROUGH FREEPORT NEW YORK THE YEAR HE WAS ELECTED I GOT TO SHAKE HIS HAND.THERE WAS TRUE ELECTRIC IN THE AIR COMING FROM HIM.HE MADE US TRUST IN THE GOVERNMENT,THAT IT WAS FOR THE PEOPLE BY THE PEOPLE.THE WORLD IS A BETTER PLACE BECAUSE HE WAS HERE.I NEVER FORGET THE GREATEST AMERICAN EVER TO HANG HIS HAT IN THE WHITE HOUSE.
