Help! I've been hacked by TSB.

Yes, I seem to have walked into their trap and clicked on the Internet Camwhore Database link. Now I see that I’ve sent a tubmail to someone I’ve never heard of, subject line “warning,” content a hyperlink with the text “My account has been hacked by TSB. Click here to find out how to protect your privacy” (something like that); the link goes to the camwhore website.
Some questions: 1. Is this kind of hackery acceptable Forumwarz trolling behaviour? 2. HOLY ****! Has my RL personal info been hacked?

Thanks! If my RL personal info is secure (I am behind a firewall), I actually find the hack kind of amusing. Annoying and kinda scary, but amusing.

I’ve always been really careful about links in email (always copy and paste, check before clicking), but this happened from a link in Flamebate, and it appeared to be a plain ol’ ordinary link to the ICWDB. The link just issued a command to the forumwarz server to send that tubmail. Unless there’s a similar command to send your personal information, and I don’t think there is, you’re safe. If there is, your [I]firewall[/am] won’t help. Firewalls only protect your computer from attacks made directly on it; anything that accesses this site or any other rather than your computer won’t be affected.

If I’d been hacked like this in another context, you can bet I’d be deleting and changing personal info immediately. But given this particular context, I figured it probably wasn’t so serious… but then I was a little freaked out that it might be, you know?
