Why does it matter if they are alts?
I think player entries on the wiki are great. If you don’t like them then you don’t have to read them, you know. I can’t see any negatives to it at all. |

There is a negative other then the quality issue. You need exact spelling to jump to an entry which is hard if you are unsure of exactly what you are looking for. So checking the full list is often needed. The more junk entries there are the longer that list gets. Perhaps if alts were removed from that list and given a separate category so new players don’t think that they are NPCs. |

My wiki was lovingly made by a man named Ortega, don’t any of you dare touch it.
Also, I don’t think it really matters.

There’s some real crap in there, though. Do we need a wiki entry on KoL? Or adventurequest? Or losers that I will not even name here, lest they get the attention they so crave? I don’t see why. Vandalising is bannable, but what is vandalising if it isn’t posting ****ty vanity pages even your mom wouldn’t care to read? I’d say throw out the garbage. |
