I heard about Forumwarz from a buddy on a now-dead forum. I thought the idea was pretty cool, a game about message boards and internet jokes. I joined after Episode 2 but before 3, somewhere around 09/10.

i thought it was a really neat game idea for the time, even while playing only ””””real”””” ””””hardcore”””” games before and since

and the community was pretty alright

but i was a high schooler who frequented 4chan and encyclopediadramatica so what do i know

I remember .moar files seemed pretty cool when they came out.

Honestly can’t remember. Obviously I liked it since I bought ep2 soon after I beat 1, but I don’t recall what it was in particular that I liked.

I joined after ep2 release, January 2009.

I was one of the first people to join… after the Kool Kids Pumpkin Krew, Team Shortbus, and Facepunch Studios were already formed. Early 2008 I believe?

Which was the best April Fool’s Day event?

I can remember three, the first where people on the forums got switched with other people (I was Fran for a day), the one where a bunch of stuff was Kingdom of Loathing for a day, then . . . there was my event which Trout blew up. In case you didn’t notice it, the idea was to slowly bring back banned characters (played by the mods) over the weeks leading up to April Fools day. Except instead they decided to bring them back all at once *on* April Fools day, which was painfully obvious. So, my favorite wasn’t that one. I guess the first.

“Admire” is a strong word, but there were many posters I liked. Really, almost everyone here was “p cool” as the kids say, although that time half the forum was obsessed with Homestuck got dumb fast.

BillMurrayFan is still my fave.
