questioning my normality

So a friend of mine is thinking of introducing me to this girl she knows. So my first thought is look her up on facebook. Then i read her blog, tumblr, and twitter. Is this normal to do in an hour or am I a creepy obsessive stalker? |

Also, Crinkz, there is such thing as data mining. For instance, freelance designers do this quite often before accepting the project, because this is the nature of the internet business — you need to know if you could trust the person. But in reality it’s not just googling up the name and obviously fake e-mails: it’s tracing IPs, running tons on WHOIS’es, pulling up message board URL hash strings, picking e-mail pbumwords and yes, using Google and couple other search engines too, but in multiple languages and with heaps of custom search parameters, not to mention digging in the garbage and patching the shredded checks and envelopes.
But yeah, people are mostly lazy these days. |

My pipl found me with three of my four addresses (including current) in this city. As well as a myspace I made like 6 years ago that I had long forgotten about. Not sure how the myspace came up, I didn’t use my name. |
