I’m majoring in clarinet, but all my paid gigs are jazz on sax (alto) in bars. :/ A band program in my area is being cut, and none of the instruments were inventoried, so I totally snagged those two, a little E flat clarinet, a piccolo, and a soprano sax. I was in band in high school. My father’s a musician so it was kinda forced on me. My band director was this French Canadian twat who constantly told me I reflected badly on the band for acting like a dyke. I was also not very talented. I was always slightly flat because I suck, I played flute in the orchestra and trombone in marching band and bbum in the jazz band. And I hated all of it. Oh man why did I open this thread.
