In all seriousness, the problem is that the meta is freaking huge at this point… but if you join it, there might be 5 or 6 people left that are willing to play with you.
You have established yourself as an antagonistic bumhole whether you like it or not. No one wants to deal with your **** and there aren’t many that are all that willing to give you a chance to redeem yourself.
I could deal with you if I had to, but I don’t particularly want to. So basically what we have here is “lolno”. |

I don’t really give a **** what people drama about on the forum most of the time. Steve’s p much the most solid scavenger I’ve seen and always knows what he’s doing. Walks out at midnight, comes back in close to attack time and brings in a ton of stuff.
Also apparently I’m a cool gatekeeper or something. |

It’s not just about going out and getting **** to bring back. Anyone can do that. It’s about knowing what to build and when and what weapons are better for killing zombies and how and when to set up a zombie reserve… and where to set it up. It’s about building morale for the rest of the town so they don’t go ape**** and shun/hang happy.
Also, The Perverts (as we seem to be called now) are leaderboard whores. I guess we’re the Brainfreeze of die2nite. It’s not enough anymore to just reach day 20… or even day 30. It’s only worth it when we get as many people there as possible for a leaderboard position. Honestly… with CS and b00t along, I don’t think it’d happen. We’re a large group of people that work amazingly well together… CS and b00t have a track record of detracting from that. So really, p much not interested.
And there’s my carepost for the day. I’m out. |

It’s funny you mention knowing what weapons are better for killing zombies, because that’s what he’s been known for in the past. He posted an incredibly detailed weapons guide on day 1 in one of our earlier towns. It was subsequently ignored and a bunch of idiots went out and tried to kill zeds with a rusty chain/penknife/whatever **** they could find and then cried on the forum when they got stuck. I guess it’s understandable if you can’t handle his abrasive demeanor. I am of the opinion that people generally need to grow a thicker skin and stop caring so much when they get insulted (especially if there was a good reason for it). And I’d probably grow bored if I played town after town with the same huge meta-coal anyway. |
