I do not play the game, but I hope your scully doesn’t have the impulse to steal and use everything from the bank and then wander out as far as possible (of course leaving the gates open.) That would just suck from what I can tell.
I do kind of enjoy reading this thread though. It reminds me why I really dislike games where you have to rely on others.
One of you should do the second group thing. That sounded like it would give a nice advantage to have two coalitions working together within one town.
Also, I have always liked the Harlem Globetrotter’s song. |

Yeah, it seems like the only way to really survive is to have max defensive focus with over 100 defensive objects in the bank. |

Ugh…
My current town is ****. We’re on day 4 and haven’t found any electronic components yet, so no search tower. Some guys teamed up for an expedition through 9 depleted zones today, and the max zombie count is more than double our current defense. Add to that the fact that people keep marking the in-game map as “Resources here!!!” in depleted zones, even if it’s just a rotting log, and people are actually complaining that they’re being asked to use the external map utility.
But hey, at least we have a lot of nuts and bolts… |

It’s okay, J of S. My first four towns died in the first six days because inevitably someone would forget to lock the gates, and it got frustrating to the point where I was actually for building the piston lock just so it wouldn’t happen again.
Strangely enough, it hasn’t happened since. I’m not sure why.
Make sure there’s a thread in the forum about closing the gates.
As for people clicking on the “build” bumon beside useless things for no reason whatsoever, nobody can help you there. It happens just as often in 100+ SP towns, although if a construction diary is built (which might seem like a waste) you can see who is doing it and leave a note on their door calling them a jew fabulous person or whatever your preferred insult is. |

It’s been pretty much a steady journey upwards for me. My first town lasted 3 days, the next one died after 12 days or something, and right now I’m in a town that’s on day 22 and we still might have a chance of making it to day 23. And that’s sexy. |
