Have you possibly noticed that a vast majority of these 1980’s Toyotas are still running just fine and are driven every day? All you need to understand is that Toyota makes reliable automobiles. Nobody is trying to ruin your day EggLord, just stating the truth. You can’t hide from the truth. I mean, I love the low steady hum of a German engine, but those cars are a **** to maintain so I drive a Toyota Corolla.

GM alone controlled more market share in the US during the 80s than all Japanese automakers combined. Japanese cars have lasted, others haven’t.

I think you need some help. Help me help you. I think I may be able to explain this in language you understand.

This is what happened, EggLord. spf started a thread. the general gist of it was:

that got cleared up in a few posts. Then some typical “stupid foreigners” comments since spf is a foreigner to everyone that doesn’t live in his country. Sometimes comments like these are referred to as “trolling.” When someone reacts to the troll, gives them what they want, this is often known as “feeding the troll.” Here is a very good sub-par example:

Damnit, I forgot you people only look at the pictures. This is what I said in concise visual format:

And this is a Japanese racing bike. It’s only meant to be used on a velodrome. It has no brakes and only one gear. It will rarely need more than basic maintenance and it’s so light you can lift it with one finger. They’re also inexpensive for the high quality racing bikes they are.
