I feel the hipster is one of the most versatile and useful familiars to be introduced in awhile. It is highly effective (read optimal) in the Typical Tavern and the Hidden City if you haven’t used it yet that day, as it’s free random combat adventures won’t replace any of the needed adventures while eliminating the ones you don’t need. It is a good thing you can only get seven fights per day now. Otherwise it would have been the optimal stat familiar too and that would just be too much. I also don’t think it overrides the tavern adventures, but it does work quite well in the hidden city. |
