Kim Peek, the inspiration for the character of Raymond Babbitt in the movie Rain Man, died on 19 December 2009 of a heart attack.
This is also an auction thread, but I thought I’d use some real news as the bait… like how newspapers make their money on adverts but have to come up with some reporting to get people to read the thing at all.

Well, no-one bumped this for me by discussing Kim Peek’s death… note to self: more interesting news next time, possibly mammary glands.
7 hours and some minutes left, reserve’s been met. From the look of the bidding, any bid at this point would take the high-bidder position. So someone should get on that, bid some more. |
