I accidentally sold my super rare unique item, and I think that because of a glitch I’ve been seeing when I was remembering NOT to sell it, it sold for only 1% of its actual worth! Which is only 10% of its Kyoubai worth.

[15:09] <Dunatis> The US is very good at not getting involved in major worlds wars until the last year or two and then giving itself all the credit

[15:10] <&Phuquit> and it seems to me that the US feels so bad about turning up late for the last 2 world wars that it’s determined to be REALLY punctual for the next one

That doesn’t rhyme very well.

I also have the feeling that haddis isn’t a real word…

Are poets allowed to make them up? If so I may have to try my hand at a new profession Log in to see images!

no, poets are not allowed to just make up words willy nilly. For example this poem:

`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves

Did gyre and gimble in the wabe:

All mimsy were the borogoves,

And the mome raths outgrabe.

“Beware the Jabberwock, my son!

The jaws that bite, the claws that catch!

Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun

The frumious Bandersnatch!”

He took his vorpal sword in hand:

Long time the manxome foe he sought —

So rested he by the Tumtum tree,

And stood awhile in thought.

And, as in uffish thought he stood,

The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame,

Came whiffling through the tulgey wood,

And burbled as it came!

One, two! One, two! And through and through

The vorpal blade went snicker-snack!

He left it dead, and with its head

He went galumphing back.

“And, has thou slain the Jabberwock?

Come to my arms, my beamish boy!

O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!’

He chortled in his joy.

`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves

Did gyre and gimble in the wabe;

All mimsy were the borogoves,

And the mome raths outgrabe.

Thank you Adapt for reminding me why I hated poetry in the first place and saving me a lifetime of self loathing and misery followed by posthumous fame and douchebags discussing what my drug addled ramblings were supposed to say!

And verily I rejoiced!

Callooh Callay!

For I would remain a nerd

Instead of becoming gay
