They’re a pretty good band. I’m addicted to The Hand That Feeds, and everything else sounds pretty good to me. |

I dunno, I listened to Nine Inch Nails a lot when I was your age. I guess I just grew out of it. It is a little to angsty and depressing anymore. |

Broken was an amazing EP, probably their best effort. Pretty Hate Machine is also worth listening to. |

The Slip is a good album, I like 1,000,000. NIN can be ****ty or awesome, depending on what album or song you’re listening to.

I don’t really like NIN. They do have some good songs, but they’re not what I usually listen to. This song is incredible though. |

I’m actually with Xylon; his (Trent Reznor; really the only person who matters in NIN) angsty style spoke to me when I was 16, now it just lacks depth. now my emotions are wayyyyy too convoluted to be effectively commincated with by a nin song. |

I’ve followed NIN since Pretty Hate Machine. They tend to be hit or miss depending on the album. I like the dystopian themes mixed with underlying smuttiness, but don’t care for it when he just rages.
Year Zero was the most beautifully executed concept album I’ve ever seen. I hadn’t heard a thing about it, put it in to play and when the disc popped out and the heat revealed the binary code – just awesome. I can’t think of another instance where an artist created a happening based on an album, and I happen to love the album content as well. |
