Lots of graphic sex, and then more graphic sex.

I had to get past the first 4 or 5 episodes before I really got into it, and I still find some of the acting to be a little over the top. Why do all modern vamps have to be glam-rock douche bags?

True Blood is probably my favorite show right now. Almost everything remotely good about Twilight was ~~plagiarized from~~ inspired by the The Southern Vampire Mysteries series, upon which True Blood is based.
