Imagine a forum where we, the users, will have the ability to govern ourselves, to dictate what is acceptable and what needs to go, to not have to depend on an impotent and petty moderation staff to take months to clean up obvious nuisances we would never want around, to create a community that caters to creativity and entertainment and shuns the little children that clamor for our annoyance.

Think what you will of me, but I do not believe that all men are created equal. In the eyes of God, this is true, and cosmically none of us has any advantage over another. But in the scope of these forums, there is clearly an inferior breed amongst us. For too long we have had to endure their awful posting so the CZ members, sat high upon their mountains of money, can continue to lazily work on a game nobody plays.

I say, why do we have to welcome everybody? Why do we have to put up with less than excellent posting from people we would never care to hear from? What good does it serve anyone but the nuisances to allow their continued presence? And, if it serves no one else, why is the community built around the needs of its most annoying?

Now, I am not asking for more heavy-handed moderation. I am simply demanding a section of the forums for we the users to moderate ourselves. I have already declared this Trollhole as my own, as a grand statement to the powers that be that we are serious about this.

You may say “you’re just seeking power”. I humbly state, as I have before, that I am acting because your policies have prevented anyone less bold from making this stand. You may say “You aren’t the right type to mod a forum”. If that may be the case, than leave me to the mercy of my peers. I never claimed to be a perfect dictator, but I see it as my duty to set the framework for this to happen. If I shall fall, let it be by their hands, not yours. You may even say “this is all just an elaborate troll”. I can bumure you that this type of forum would solve an incredible amount of problems on this site, and would increase the positive experience for your most dedicated and veteran players.

We do not need a sanctuary from the **** you have dragged into our community. We demand a place to impose our will on said ****.

While I understand the Nazi parallel, I believe you’ll be pleasantly surprised once we get our way. All are welcome in The Trollhole, there’s just no guarantee that welcome will stick.
