Getting scoops even though Domination is over?

Hey,
Apparently there are 0 hours 0 minutes and 0 seconds remaining in my round of Domination. But new scoops I’m getting still go into that round. Why is this? They’re just being wasted, it seems. Would it not be better if they contributed to next week’s round?
