Hi, I'm an adult whos into bumes. But not boners!

My other one was so old, the motherboard finally gave out and failed. So I got a 500 dollar one today, going to go to a store that specializes in comp stuff this weekend, so anything I should upgrade?

Specs:

Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit

2.0 GB RAM(I plan to upgrade this to at least 4.0 GB)

Intel Celeron CPU ~2.2 GHz(I plan to upgrade this, but not sure to what, any suggestions on a tightish budget?, I plan to get at least ~3.0 GHz though)

Video Card:

Intel G41 express chipset

782 MB memory.

Thoughts? Chuckles? Laughing at a possible bad deal I got?

first of all, why would they give you 64 bit when you run a celeron and two gigs of ram… that’s just silly.

second if you wanted budget stuff you should have got an AMD platform. their CPUs are killer bargains.

third, you probably can’t upgrade much because you got such a cheap computer. you’ll have to find out the motherboard model, if it has a PCIe slot, if it supports core2 duo (probbaly but i dunno maybe not), check on your ram to make sure it’s at least ddr2 800.

imo buying a prebuilt computer is always a waste of time and money if you plan to upgrade it. hell buying a prebuilt is always a waste of money.

Didn’t have much choice as the “forced” part. I would of loved to not to buy it, but Log in to see images!
