Can a castle actually attack?

Very serious question: Is it possible for a castle to attack? I couldn’t answer this question myself. Of course, a castle can defend, but can it also attack? For example if there are gipsies near the castle that don’t cause any harm, but they are being chased off, does that mean that the castle was actually attacking them?

how far away is the nearest castle? If you can reach it then you can certainly attack it. Besides, I heard everyone in Europe lives in a castle. Plus, I’ve been there and they do. And they are angry a lot, so I can totally see them wanting to attack each other. Log in to see images!
