Oh, BTW, you do know how to add your own custom sprite sheets to the game, right? It’s not really ‘closed-source’, you can make everything yourself except the codes from scratch. |

I’m using RPG maker XP out of not knowing any languages.
I could use this and make a game people can laugh at in a couple months, instead of spending a few months learning a language then getting a game out that is visually, and game play appealing in a few more months. As long as people enjoy the story, I can care less what people think of the game play.

Just thought I’d check in w/ you guys since I’ve completely ignored FWZ for this game the past couple days.
Basically… Yeah… This **** is going to be just off the chain in every aspect (except for length). It’ll probably consist of about three levels/dungeons/whatever with all the interludes and shops and interactions and stuff in between and just crammed with as much coolness and lulz as I can possibly squeeze in. You are going to like it a lot. |

you can modify the coding in rpgm a great deal tho. There isn’t as much stuff for xp yet as there is for 2000 using ruby and all instead of C basic, but there is a slew of already made custom scripts to change battle systems, even turn the over world into a realtime battle game.

I’m going to keep everything under wraps so everything will be a surprise when I finally release it and you play it. But I could tell/show you some stuff you’d think was p awesome. You will **** your pants when you play this game. You will **** your pants, go change them, and **** them again. This is a double pants-****ting game. Do not play this game w/ out at least three clean pairs of underwear on hand.
I’ll see if I can’t work you in shii.
