Quick Post/Edit in Flamebate

Had an idea just now. Why not have a quick post box at the bottom of each thread, so one can post without having to hit reply. The same would go for Quick Edit, possibly.
Examples:
Log in to see images! That’s from another forum I go to.
Log in to see images! Quick Edit from the Valve community forums. (In case you care, some league in Team Fortress 2 has banned the use of the Scout’s new bat unlockable, the Sandman, and that’s my opinion on it.)
I hate the layout of posting here, so quick reply/edit would be nice.
