At least Shakespeare adds a little bit of culture and reading to our society, my problem with high school is how they make you have compulsory math courses, which essentially teach you nothing that will be useful to you whatsoever in life, unless you head into a business or math pr physics field. And even if you do head into one of those fields, about half the math you learn you will never use anyway. For most people, 95% of the math they learn in gr 10-12 they will never use. |

At least you can BS your way through Shakespeare and what not since interpretation is always oh so subjective.
Try doing that with calculus or chemistry, especially chemistry and see what happens.
