ReKaZ – you made three levels, and all of them were quite well designed. You made use of many different obstacles in interesting ways; I can see that much effort was put into these levels. However the brutal difficulty means that the player will die a lot. Don’t get me wrong, I like a challenge, but “Normal” difficulty should be beginner-friendly. My suggestion would be to make more of the spikes exclusive to Hard difficulty, so those who want the challenge can have it while those with bad reflexes can still enjoy the game. You get 2 BP for very good effort. Nicco – You were the first person to understand and correctly utilize all the difficulty settings, which is commendable. The normal mode wasn’t too difficult, and the hard mode was challenging. My only gripe is that the player can jump into spikes without realizing it because they are placed just inside a new room, rendering them invisible. You get 2 BP for excellence in difficulty. Robok – Your level was both well-designed and hilarious. The taunting signs combined with tricking the player into doing everything twice made it really funny. There was no difference between normal and hard difficulty, but that’s alright with me since the trick only works once anyway. You get 2 BP for ASCII mammary glands… wait, I meant excellence in design and humor. Cyan – Your first level, Red and Blue, was fun to play and you created some interesting combinations of obstacles that I had not thought of before. However, it was only three rooms long, so I found myself unsatisfied when I reached the end. The second level on the other hand was much longer and offered a good challenge while using the color blocks well. But as you said yourself, the cliff part is annoying (it reminded me of messhof’s Punishment!). Nevertheless, you get a BP for your efforts. Celerysteve – your level was refreshing. It was not as cramped as the other levels and gave the player a lot of room to move around, and the dramatic text was funny. It did not offer a challenge to an experienced player though. You get a BP for the level. Nillo – Your level was totally awesome and flawlessly designed. But you are me, who is also the creator of the contest and the game, so you can’t participate. Of these levels, Robok’s impressed me the most, so you get an additional 3 BP which brings your total to 5 BP. Congratulations. |
