I was expecting great things when the first two songs were BNL and Beck, but then I ran into a solid wall of Ben Folds Five and it was like “holy **** this is funnier than child abuse”.

Every good song is so mainstream that every idiot knows about them and thinks it’s cool to say “OH YEAH, REEL BIG FISH, I KNOW ABOUT THEM! THEY’RE KIND OF OBSCURE, BUT I FEEL SO INDIE FOR LISTENING TO THEM!” And every bad song is so amazingly bad, it’s impressive that this level of suck was condensed in one source.

Then I ran into Gary Jules’ “Mad World” and thought “hey, this is actually kind of cool”, but when I ran into 500 Tears for Fears songs, the original was nowhere in sight. ****ing lame.

And Coldplay is a bad band that has to steal all their good songs from Joe Satriani. Log in to see images!
