I am like a gun. People use me to do their dirty work.

I am like a sword. There are two ends of me: the handle and the sharp sides

(sharp means literally for the sword and intelligent/wise metaphorically FYI)

I am like food. People take me for granted but there is no one in the world who can possibly live without me.

I am like a good tuxedo. I work with people to bring out their best qualities (eloquence, etiquette, gentlemanly stuff), and I’m great at parties. When an important event is approaching, I’m often called upon to help.

Perhaps it’s a little hard to bring to clbum, but I suppose you may have a good bag to protect it, or even wear it if you live on campus and/or don’t have to travel far.
