Yes, of course a “square circle” as we have defined it is ridiculous, but refusing to believe that something could exist outside of our understanding of the universe is just, well, stupid. To think we know anything for certain is a fallacy. All we have are our perceptions and definitions to try and make sense of them. To believe that these primitive facilities can understand and define the universe is foolish.

True, this is a logical hurdle if one were trying to argue for the existence of God, but in the way we’ve been arguing it, this is not the position in question. The position in question is yours, that God does not exist, to which this arguement has absolutely no relevance. We would not expect to see evidence of a supernatural being, so therefore a lack of evidence here offers your position no help.

The Universe, since it exists, must have a beginning. In order for the universe to have a beginning, there must be a point of creation. To say that the universe was created in some fashion, intelligent or not, is a reasonable statement.

Now, for existence apart from the universe. No, “existence” in our frame of reference is limited to the universe. Everything we know is in the universe, and therefore everything that “exists” is in our universe. However, since the universe necessarily has an origin, something “other” than the universe must have “existed” to kick start the process. Since “existance” happens in some form outside of our universe, the existence of God outside of our universe is certainly possible.

I must have missed the part where God couldn’t exist within the universe (aside from “no proof lol”Log in to see images!, so if you could spit that one back out that’d be great.

Bizzaro concept, but if God were the universe, he would technically know, see, feel, and control everything. Just saying.

More down to Earth, just because something defies definition does not make it impossible. Light waves, for the longest time, defied any definition we had. Hell, even gravity was a unimaginable concept for a significant portion of our existence. I don’t even know what this point was trying to prove, other than that our feeble brains can’t possibly comprehend everything around us.

You still haven’t contributed anything to this conversation either, now that I think about it. All you’re interested in is flaming OJ, not actually proving whether God exists or not.
