I can’t tell whether inertia is trolling us (inadvertent or not) but I’ll try to lay out the reasoning for why some people like to play spoiler rather than just live and let live.

In my case I am typically unavailable during domination end times thus unless I just happen to be free that week, my primary chance of medals happens in the opening weeks of the season when I can utterly crush my bracket. In most of the other weeks I can build up a pretty decent position but the inability to play cards during end time kills my ability to react to a changing pod.

Thus in order to have some impact on the game I’ll act as artillery and help other people in the klan get medals and/or male reproductive organblock people in other klans. For me the medals are secondary to actually being able to influence the game in a meaningful way.

Many of the european players are horribly impacted by the endtime as well and have taken to artillery roles as well.

Finally a small percentage of players (scully is chief among these) simply like nuking the opposition and emptying the pod of all scoops. These players have consistently pushed for a destructor medal so that destruction focused players can actually medal.

Alright, if it’s for klan I can understand. But why overpower this already powerful artillery?

It’s powerful enough as it is imo. It’s fair that it wakes several people working together to take down one guy from the top.

1) Because ****ing with other people and bringing them down is fun/can be a part of strategy to make yourself win and why the cards created are called “bumhole” and “destroyer” and not “be friends” and “give them scoops!”

3)Because bringing down the other person IS PART OF THE GAME – and you have to sacrifice your own scoops to do so which is why it’s not like most people go around destroying **** and dom is boring

But I can see already you’re one of those limpwristed people that gets bumhurt when you get scoops destroyed so you just hoard shields and MI’s until the last 10 minutes of the game/just like to hoard hundreds of scoops and earn medals in an easy non-competitive manner… aka a boring player.

Given the minimal destruction the jerk cards produce there’s not enough incentive to use 4 scoops of your own which is why they should be more powerful.

Also, in revival of scully’s idea, petition for biggest bumhole/destroyer peen for being a jerk in dom… plskthx.

I mean, upping the bumhole to 10 doesn’t only **** with the guy in first place, it means that the guy in first place can bumhole someone down who’s getting a bit too close for comfort, and then what the **** is second place going to do, 10 scoops down and without any cards?

No bumholes only work on the highest scoop individual in a pod.

So in order to do what you are saying the scoop leader would need to card down until he is lower than the new leader and then bumhole him. While that can be somewhat useful in certain cirgreat timesstances in practice it’s not that great of a move because you can’t always reliably draw an bumhole when you card down.

carding down at the start of the week can bring strategic advantages, especially if that means your nearest competitor is at the top and getting hit by everyone else

also you can use other cards on your nearest competitor if you don’t want to card down for the bumhole

dom is about strategy, not the easiest way to medal… though it seems to be that way most weeks in most brackets

Honestly I suspect the sheer amount of time it takes to card down a large number of alts is a major factor.

If I could purchase more than one card at a time that would save me a freaking ton of time and leave me more willing to bumhole people to death with all my alts.

Eh, I don’t get bumhurt when I see I have no chance for medal, so I don’t have to go “If I can’t have it, he can’t too”. Be a gentleman and concede your inadequacy. Unless you have a grudge against the guy or something.
