Thinking about starting a cult - advice?

I’ve been pretty bored lately, so I’ve been thinking about starting a cult. Mainly, I really like the idea of gullible minions doing my bidding.
I’m trying to find a downside to the thing, but I’m not seeing it. I mean if I get sick of it, I can pretty much just serve up the “special” Kool-aid, pudding or whatever and they will all take themselves off my hands, right?
Am I missing something? Also, looking for a good name for it. It should obviously be either biblical or new-agey.

These are all excellent suggestions! I’m going to seriously consider Disciples of Paella. Our motto can be “Combining the mystick wisdom of ancient China and Spain.”
I might get more followers with the acid laced kool-aid, but I don’t think they would mind me as well, do you? Maybe I could lace the paella with mushrooms a couple times a year. I’ll have to think about that. Time you enjoy wasting, was not wasted. Log in to see images! |
