Smaller raiding groups

Sorry if this has been brought up before. I don’t know how many Klans are raiding at this point, but I know at 70CS we haven’t been able to get enough people together to make it worthwhile under the present rules. So how about if smaller raiding groups received larger rewards, e.g. a group of six would get two scoops at a time, a group of four would get four, three would get six, and maybe numbers for two and even one. This would get more people involved in raiding, and have a different challenge for people who already do. |

We did a group of 5 (with a few alts) and got ~50 scoops each, it’s not that bad.
It’s not the mods fault you’re not popular. |

Given the current state of klan raiding, making the payoff for a smaller group would be a good idea. Or, make a second raid option to “start a 20 character raid” that can only have 20 (something that could net more than a solo raid, but not too much more) character involved, but can be full of alts. I’m sure there’s issues with that, but since klan raiding seems to be a thing of the past, maybe that would enable small raid groups a chance. |

At the moment it’s not a matter of how many people raid, it’s a matter of how many alts they have. Episode 2 Beta sometimes raids with only 5-6 people but they have a lot of alts and get tons of scoops. Log in to see images! |

Yeah, they fortunately changed it. But still – 500-600 extra scoops is mbumive. And if half of the bracket is in the same klan of raiders… goodbye competition and fun. Log in to see images! |

I don’t know the answer. I also don’t envy BINGEBOT at all. Finding a raiding benefit, that isn’t either radically overpowered or completely pointless, is just not as easy as it seems. If a klan takes the time to get together for a raid, there should be a decent benefit. The current situation that allows the feeding of alts into one main character is a smaller problem than letting all the alts get klan vanilla, but it’s still a problem. Done correctly one can literally purchase enough alts to guarantee medals. It used to be a way to combat big klan vanilla, now it’s become the only true power in the upper brackets of Domination. That really sucks for great players with low cash reserves.
Maybe the age old suggestion of dividing klan and solo vanilla, but personally I like being able to play with everyone. I especially love competing with players I admire. |
