The college I go to does a LOT of stuff online: Most of the courses are web enhanced, and one of the ones I’m taking (it’s about writing for new technologies and stuff) is completely online. It’s pretty hilarious: You can see most of the other student’s work, since a lot of the course is done in the form of discussions and such, and they can hardly write. The professor has also said that she might give extra credit if we meet her in her office. In second life.

So we’re doing a lesson on grammar, and one of the bumignments was to find an example of bad spelling and such online. I decided youtube would be an easy place to find such things. And, obviously, the best video to use would be Rick Astley.

anyway I turned in this:

1. Youtube is sort of famous for the terribly written comments there, so I picked a video at random. The site is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=edaJP3Lp0Gg&feature=related , and the comment was “hahaha I love the clapping shadow.Best music vid ever”.

2. There are misspellings, and it is missing a comma.

3. “Ha, I love the clapping shadow. Best music video ever.”
