Ulver’s probably my favorite band. I’d say Blood Inside is their best album.

I recently got into Grails, Nadja, Trenches and Ben Frost.

Lately I’ve been diggin’ Psycroptic’s new album though – ****ing BADbum.

And regarding power metal, I endorse anything apart from Dragonforce; ****ing HORRIBLE band. Blind Guardian, (older) Sonata Arctica and Rhapsody ftw. Like SW though, I haven’t listened to power metal properly for a good while now..

Nice taste.

I’ve been on an insatiable sludge/post-metal binge recently, and I’ve gotten heavily into Rwake, Old Man Gloom and Zozobra. Anyone who likes heavy and interesting music should check them out.

Well with the whole Theremin thing, It reminds me of a band I’ve been getting into lately, The Phenomenauts. They make themselves out like an old school Saturday Morning show, which is part of the charm. They are a mash of rockabilly and surf, mixed in with some theremin to make an alien quality out of it.
