So chess is more a game of memorization than anything else. Which sucks.

quite untrue..theres more possible chess games than atoms in the known universe..it is usually a variation of some kind, all logical positions get a name eventually.

i don’t need any outside help to play chess, and i think thats rather cheating if you do

I have an extensive chess library and I love studying grandmaster games. Not going to quit my hobby for this gameLog in to see images! Rest bumured though, I’m purposely avoiding contemporary repertoire in our games. Anyway…

actually tbh i was pretty sure you were consulting something..-but let me tell you, youre just cheating yourself, when you use anything but your own mind on it..you end up thinking you are much better than you really are.

but, do what you will..i know on my end im all just me playin, no bots no books no opening library..i need nothing to play a game of chess except my mind (and hopefully a board). a win is hollow to me if i have cheated..its not fully earned.

We can go back and forth on this, I’m telling you I’m not consulting anything. I’m pretty much winging the opening as well, normally I ALWAYS play 2. Nf3 in stead of 2. f4
