Discussion Post Voting

So what’ll become of all the posts once they are downvoted enough? I sense a glut of threads being banished to the Closet of Shame once some humourless bumholes start downvoting everything in sight. That sounds problematic.

Besides, not all of the posts you call “bad” are bad. BirdOfPrey was right – quote posts are a way of appreciating the excellence of a given post in a way votes never will. Also, I kinda liked some of the spam posts, a lot of work has gone into some of them (remember the lyric posts? how about the last post contest threads – how are you gonna play those without trolling?)

Basically, it’s gonna make it too easy for people to be bumholes on Flamebate – they gotta work at their trolling if they wanna troll, not just push the “FAIL” bumon and so be it.
