Fatalism, Chapter I: Intro, Outro

“Finally. I thought he would never leave.” says Quentin to himself. “This better not be too long of a walk.[/i}” he mumbles while looking at the address. “Huh? I know this address. But how, I’ve never been to this place before.” Quentin stands there for a moment, trying to think of how he knows this address. After a few minutes he gives up, unable to recall the memory. “[i]Oh well. Might as well catch a bus” He thinks as he walks off towards the nearest bus stop.

Oh by the way, what state is this taking place in? Or is it one of those alternate dimension things where there are no states yet life is exactly the same

“Come the **** on already gil” Quentin mutters while looking down. Quentin hates standing here doing nothing. He’s been left with nothing now that Bob’s gone. “I WANT TO DO SOMETHING WITH MY LIFE!” Quentin screams at him. Then realizeing he’s making a scene, quickly backs out of the crowd a little. Why did there have to be so many people here he thinks to himself.

Quentin is surprised by this last statement of the man named Quixote. He wants to ask what would make us lose all these things, but knows that the answer doesnt really matter. He takes a minute to contemplate his life and everything in it. And then it hits him, Bob still hasnt returned from the movies! Theres no way he could abandon Bob without a second thought, he had to at least say good bye, he figured that he had to get rid of these illusions no matter what, or he’d go crazy. Quentin decides to speak up “This is alot to think about Quixote, can I take a quick walk round the park to clear my head and think this through?”

Sorry for a little bit of godmodding here, but I need Quixote to say yes, but I promise this wont change the situation at all.

“Sure why not kid, just come back real quick and make your decision.” stated Quixote. “Thanks I’l be right back” Quentin quickly runs in the direction of the theater, “I have to see Bob one last time” the thought screams throughout his head, no longer interfered with by the demented plague of the illuminati, at least for now while under Quixote’s protection. As he gets about a block from the theater, he is held up by a scene covered in police tape. “This is the only road to the movie theater for miles, I have to get across here!” Quentin shoves his way through the crowd surrounding the scene and notices that there was a hit and run accident. He looks carefully around trying to find a clear path to the other side. Finally, he sees one. Quentin dashes out from underneath the tape and runs for the other side. On his way across, he catches a glimpse of the victim and stops dead in his tracks. With a shock, he realizes suddenly “THATS BOB!” exclaims Quentin. He drops to his knees next to Bob and breaks into tears. “WHY! WHY DID THIS HAPPEN TO HIM!” he screams as the police quickly gather and push him outside the tape. After the violent sobbing subsides, Quentin finally gets his thoughts straight. “[i]I know what I must do”

Quentin slowly walks back to the park gathering. “I’m in, I’ve got nothing to lose now”

After seing a small crowd gather around the stranhge man, Quentin decides he’l finally make his move. He walks over and catches the man saying we should all introduce ourselves. He sighs. Quentin is not good with people. “Quentin” he says reluctantly as he looks to the side. He fiddles around with the loose change left in his pocket left from the movies, and wonders where Bob could be, and whats taking him so long?

As Quentin sits on the park bench and waits for Bob to retreive his wallet, he cant help to notice time slowing. He glances around and everyone in the park, animals included seem to be moving incredibly sluggish. And in the corner of his eye he notices the man in the trenchcoat staring at him, not blinking or moving in the slightest. His presense seems almost hypnotizing, and as Quentin stares at the man, he feels his heart speeding up. “What is this feeling?” He mutters to himself. The man finally moves, but just for a split second. He moved his arm! Slowly but steadily, without wavering his glare at Quentin, he reaches into his pocket. Then, with no warning a shattering pain fills Quentins head. He can’t help but to let out a scream, the pain is unbearable. Then simultaneosly the man in the suit pulls his hand out of his pocket swiftly, and the pain quickly subsides. “Who is this man? I must find out.” He thinks to himself. Then a resounding voice, from seemingly nowhere and everywhere at the same time enters Quentin’s mind. “COME HERE BOY”
