Well the problem is that hackers can get rather disgusting stats. For instance I’m only partially optimized and have 154 offense.
Personally I’d rather increase the PP costs on avatar and IPz even more and have both of them with 1 turn refresh rates. That way hackers would need to decide whether or not to do max offense or use some PP boosters beyond the finger surgical procedure. (view post) |

Any fixes would require that BoP edit the original .z5 game. No bumholes only work on the highest scoop individual in a pod.
So in order to do what you are saying the scoop leader would need to card down until he is lower than the new leader and then bumhole him. While that can be somewhat useful in certain cirgreat timesstances in practice it’s not that great of a move because you can’t always reliably draw an bumhole when you card down. (view post) |

Gambling Betweens PlayersI hate to say it but this is might seem like a good idea in theory I suspect it would be a horrible one in practice.
Even if you exclude cheater accounts and prevent people from using multiple alts in the same game you will likely experience all sort of rampant cheating.
For instance suppose Scullyangel and myself wanted to collude in order to lock out people from the leaderboard. We each could use our flezz gathering alts to gain a lot of and then we could go to this game of texas hold ‘em.
In game 1 we each bet conservatively on hands that we can’t win however using IRC or Instant messaging we determine that one hand Scully has a great hand and should by all rights win the pot. We take turns running up the pot and most importantly pushing other players out of the final bet. At that point in time my alt and scully are still in the game, we know that Scully will win the hand so I go all in (or max bet if there is a table limit) and intentionally lose. At that point Scully pockets my “bet” and can make up a good bit of ground on whoever is the current flezz leader.
Considering each of us have 12+ level capped alts this is obviously a great way of bypbuming the current limits on deliveries. When scully gets all of her alts with the flezz peen then she proceeds to help me do the same thing with my alts.
As long as an alliance of alts can gain more flezz than any other alliance it would be rather easy to hoard the peen (and any sort of gambling related peens) between a select group of players. This phenomenon already happens in regards to domination I’m not sure it would be good to extend it to other facets of the game. (view post) |

...ok, now what?With 4x Polka Dots you should be able to maximize your deliveries at rollover. Honestly the best strategy for you at this point in time would be to do 4x herschel jobs (whatever ones you can comfortable do that give maximum returns) until you can afford 4x beastors. At that point in time you should be somewhere between 17-20 level. At that point you should be able to purchase enough synthols and PP recovering drinks that you can handle doing a handful of second wife threads with each visit. That enables you to powerlevel rather rapidly and can generally push through to the endgame. (view post) |

Raepdog-Bot 5000 <Spoilers>While botting gameplay is against the rules I’m not sure that it’s worth the effort to actually do this project. Arktor and a handful of other people managed to script running a few forums but the sheer complexity of doing this without access to the game routines (like ET uses with his test-bots) would be pretty hefty.
I think scripting INCIT would be an easier task and could actually be more funny than most of the submissions (sure they would typically be incomprehensible but that would add to the originality). (view post) |

Exactly how does the new E-peen system work?I suspect that what ET is doing is to give all the peens a fixed value thus you might have a fixed value of 12.9. However this final value is adjusted according to the highest active player (currently PD).
Based on the “average” being 6 inches I’d suggest that he’s doing something where maximum deviation from the mean is 0 – 13”. PD has the highest true value (something like 15+ inches) but that is adjusted to 13” and everyone is adjusted accordingly.
I strongly suspect that most cred, most flezz and most forums pwned leaderboard peens are not as valuable as people would tend to think. Rather the uniques and forumbuildr ones tend to be significant more valuable.
I kinda doubt that each peen is adjusted according to how many people have it (rarity) which means that the current game of leaderboard hogging is somewhat dubious. While that could be done it would make for a very bulky formula and experience has taught me that et tends to prefer easier coding solutions. (view post) |

Domination re-work idea: Excellent Strategical Change or ****tiest Suggestion Ever?Well currently shields are too too cost effective. For 4 scoops they protect you against every type of card. In contrast bumholes can destroy 10 scoops but they can only target the scoop leader and only when you have 3 or fewer cards. The result is that you tend to rely on shotguns and destroyers to break other people’s shieldwalls. Even if you stock up on them it’s unlikely you can break an effective shield wall at the end. Thus it comes down to who has the most modests and a reasonable number of shields at the last.
I’m not saying that scully’s idea is a great one but it would make turtling less desireable as a strategy.
Another option would be to reduce the chances of getting either bumhole or shield cards by a significant number. Maybe something like a 5% chance of getting either? (view post) |
