This sort of goes back to four months ago, when I was just starting to play this game. I thought the “Friends” thing actually mattered functionally, so I kept the list to only people I already knew.

I stuck with that system all this time. I’d accept friend requests so that the requester would get the message saying I’d approved, and then later delete them so as not to hurt anyone’s feelings, I thought.

This was all just me sticking to an old, anal system even though I now know better. There’s really no downside at all to having a big friends list.

So, that’s my explanation.

also: show the reserve if they have one. I have no problem meeting a reserve if it’s for something I want, but there is nothing more annoying than finding out that you won a bid but didn’t meet the reserve.

Or at least a message saying “reserve not met” when you become the highest bidder. And if you win but don’t meet the reserve you should have the option of paying the extra to meet the reserve.
