I don’t deserve half the praise I’m getting for this in my opinion but I must admit the response I’ve received so far does flatter me and encourage me to keep doing the right thing. I realize you’re only doing this to make sure each mod can see the report, but we actually share a discussion area on the report where we can talk, and we leave the reports open until everyone has had their say. We don’t need a separate report for each mod. Thanks, and keep up the good work! I reported that post with “I’m sorry.” That being said it’s supercool to get a “glimpse behind the scenes”, so to speak, and learn more about how moderation works. People don’t realize that you can use the report function not just to report violations but also for suggesting a thread be moved. Or you could just comment on someone’s post. The decision to ban players is made by the mods, I just alert them to possible violations and they are free to no action those reports (which is why I report even the slightest technicality and encourage everyone else to do the same). In this case, the mods ruled that nana’s post was detrimental to a constructive and civil exchange of ideas on the non-RP forums which didn’t surprise me in the slightest. As I said before, I respect nana as a person but I didn’t respect her behaviour last night and I hope she takes a moment to contemplate what she did during her relatively short tempban.
