Something I've been meaning to say to players who like to get banned. And I can say this because this is a RP forum, where trolling is allowed.****. You. I don’t know what motivates you, I don’t know what kind of a terrible childhood you had, I don’t care! There is no excuse for not following the Flamebate rules and you know that!
But in stead of respecting the few rules these forums have you go out of your way to break them. Maybe you think that’s funny but somehow I’m not laughing.
You know who else is not laughing? Evil Trout, that’s who! He’s buried in bug reports while working on new content and you’re ruining his game!

You know what’s sad? People who make a hobby out of bullying Evil Trout with violations! He has a lot on his plate and the least we can do is lighten his load by reporting posts as soon as they appear. It’s just common sense. Suggestion for new level 4 mission: Rules & Regulations!Hi, I’m SG94 and I report a lot of posts to help the moderators and make ForumWarz better. Lately, there have been a lot of new users and not all of them seem to follow the flamebate rules.
Which made me think that it would probably be a good idea to implement a new mission that players have to beat before they can post on flamebate. I call it Rules & Regulations! Here’s how it works:
Upon reaching level 4, a new sTalk conversation is initiated by… Evil Trout! He will congratulate the player on reaching level 4 and thank him for playing ForumWarz, and announce that he now has access to the boards, if he can prove he knows the flamebate rules. Then the conversation ends and the player studies the rules and after that starts a new conversation where ET will give the player a test.
If the test is completed successfully, the player can post on flamebate. If not, the player will have to wait 3 days to take the test again, and if the test is done particularly awful, permabanned.
This would cut down on the number of Trolls because no one can claim they didn’t know the rules when they started posting. I think this is a great way to make the site better. (view post) |
