It’s probably going to be a fairly long post, so to make it less boring I’m going to do it in-character. This basically means that I plan on belittling the reader and using words like “fabulous person” a lot. It’s also not going to be relevant to the other two clbumes since they have no problems with making money. But if no one minds, I have no problem with posting it in this forum.
P.S. By “if no one minds,” I obviously mean “if MC Banhammer doesn’t mind.”

The wait is overThe cheaters are right, this thing isn’t very useful right now. I pwned nine threads in a Second Wife ten-threader. (I would’ve pwned the tenth one but they got a lucky shot on me.) The results:

Eliminate downvoting altogether: only let us upvoteIf anything is fueling downvotes towards successful submissions, it’s the timestamp that shows when the submission was posted. That probably draws griefers like flies on ****, and doesn’t serve any useful purpose that I can see.
To be fair, the only good reason to allow downvoting itself is to keep the number of submissions manageable, otherwise the pbum bumon would be sufficient. But that’s a pretty damn good reason and I can’t think of any other efficient way of culling the submission pool. (view post) |

Leaderboards vs. Timed LeaderboardsI think it makes more sense to have timed leaderboards on the basis of activity instead of however much Cred or Flezz you’ve gotten in a certain period. Basically the leaderboard would be the same but you’d take off characters who aren’t playing like 7u880y. I’m guessing a couple of weeks of inactivity would be sufficient, or maybe a month.
